In 2023, Maya and Lucas were building AI features at separate companies and kept hitting the same wall: existing tools forced a choice between research-quality prototypes and production-worthy systems. No middle ground existed.
They left their jobs to build Forge — an opinionated platform that handles the hard parts: agent orchestration, memory management, tool safety, observability, and deployment infrastructure. So engineers can focus on what matters: the product.
